All Stones Of Atlantis jewellery pieces are handmade and made well, but they are not made to withstand accidents so please exercise caution when wearing them. Our pieces are delicate by design and the crystals are simply held in place by the settingβs claws which means it is possible for a crystal to come loose and fall out if a claw is accidentally pried open.
Wearing Your Jewellery
The simple rule is put it on last and take it off first.
Remove jewellery before going to bed or when participating in physical activity. Avoid exposure to chemicals such as nail polish removers, perfume, hairspray, suntan lotion, cleaning agents, ammonia, chlorine, salt water and silver polish.
Cleaning Your Jewellery
Polishing cloths cannot remove scratches, but if over time your jewellery loses some of its shine using a polishing cloth will help restore it.
Tougher grime can be removed by using a soft toothbrush to wash your jewellery with mild soap and lukewarm water, then rinse the piece in clean water before drying it with a soft cleaning cloth.
Storing Your Jewellery
To protect your jewellery, store them in a protective lined jewellery box or a tarnish resistant pouch away from natural light, heat and moisture, and try keeping pieces apart so they donβt rub together scratching needlessly.
